POWER TRANSMISSION

Raj offers variable Speed Gear Boxes, with model nos. N3, N8 & N15. The variators deliver infinitely variable Stepless Speed ranges at the output shaft & is coupled to an A.C. Motor. The output speed vary in proportion to input speed. The gear box can be coupled to A.C. Motor from 0.18 KW to 2.2 KW.

The Power transmission is highly efficient and the unit is compact. The Gear Box is completely enclosed and practically maintenance free with periodic lubrication. The Gear Box delivers high torque for the same power input which results in power saving.

The output speed can be varied by turning an esasily accessible wheel at the top of the unit. The gear box can be supplied either in foot mounted or fange mounted configuration and also with or without motor. The variators can be supplied with flame proof motors.

Compact Construction, easy repair, low repair costs. Long Service life because of high quality friction rings (One year warranty).

Driving cone is the main part which suffers No damage even when the friction ring is worn out to the maximum degree. Theis because of a special stop pin.

The speed can be changed both whilst unit is in working condition or when machine is stationery.

Self locking threaded spindle ensures no disturbance in the set position even if the machine vibrates.

A brass spacer between driver and driven cam avoids Corrossion hence minimising wear on the curve of cams.

Speed regulation wheel can be mounted 900 off centre.

The drive can work both in clockwise and counter clockwise direction.

Use of brake motors is possible.

Can be mounted in any position Long life greasing for reduction gear.
